Do you have a voice that needs to be shared? Do you enjoy expressing yourself through some form of visual art? If you consistently find national, state, local and University current events or trends interesting and are itching to share your opinion about said current events or trends in a visual format, a Michigan Daily Opinion cartoonist position might be the job for you!

The Opinion section, also known as the Editorial page, provides a space for community dialogue about current issues relevant to the University and larger Ann Arbor community. The section is self-critical: We represent the voice of The Michigan Daily while simultaneously challenging it. We seek to uplift a range of student viewpoints through articulate, timely content and encourage community response via letters and op-eds. This upcoming semester, we are looking to hire a range of voices and welcome applications from any Fall 2023 student at the University of Michigan. We look forward to hearing from you!
